We keep around 250 carefully selected sample books of current fabric collections, from a small number of trusted suppliers. We feel this is about right to provide an abundance of choice without being too overwhelming. Our collections reflect both current trends and traditional classics, with almost every fabric design, colour, composition and price range represented. The only thing that doesn't change is the consistently high quality of the fabrics we offer.
So whether you’re looking for vintage country cottons, smart urban stripes, elegant velours, retro geometrics, sumptuous chenilles or the finest embroidered silks, you should find something in our collections to suit your taste and budget.
You are welcome to browse our fabrics without obligation; all we ask is that you contact us first so that we can arrange a time when the workroom is not too busy, and all our books are available. Then we’ll make you a cup of coffee and leave you to peruse the fabrics in peace - or we'll be on hand to offer advice if needed.
Because it’s so important to see fabrics in the room setting, and in different lights, we will normally let you take our books or swatches home on payment of a deposit.

I have hundreds of samples and endless enthusiasm to seek out the perfect finishing touches for your cushions, curtains and blinds.
We also stock a substantial array of haberdashery - including curtain linings, interlinings, heading tapes, threads, hooks, pins, needles, buckrams, piping cord, buttons, velcro, zips, tracks and blind components. And as we buy all these items in bulk, and don't have the same overheads as a shop, you may find our prices are keener than the retail outlets.
We are not an "on-line shop", but we keep many items in stock for use in our own workroom,
and maintain excellent trading relationships with the major manufacturers and wholesalers.
